AGI is Yesterday. Hyperintelligence is the Future.

It’s time to push the boundaries of what AI can do. At Coinbase’s AI Hackathon in San Francisco, Hyperbolic challenges developers to build Hyperintelligence—AI that evolves, collaborates, and scales autonomously.

Unlike traditional AI or AGI, which are limited by centralized, opaque infrastructure, Hyperintelligence is powered by decentralized compute, verifiable inference, and adaptive agent frameworks. With Hyperbolic’s tools—GPU Marketplace, Verfiable Inference powered by Proof of Sampling, and Agent Framework—you can create systems that think, act, and grow beyond their original design.

We’re offering three bounties to explore the possibilities of Hyperintelligence:

  1. Self-Evolving Agents: AI that adapts and improves autonomously.

  2. AI Sales Agent: An agent that matches users with decentralized compute resources.

  3. The Most Hyperbolic Agent: A creative, innovative approach to building agents using our tools.

Bounty 1: Self-Evolving Agents

Create an autonomous agent that leverages an open source fine tuning framework (e.g Unsloth) integrated within the Hyperbolic AgentKit framework to continuously improve its performance. The agent should demonstrate measurable improvements in its capabilities features available in the open source fine tuning framework.

Required Capabilities:

The agent should implement a systematic approach to self-improvement by identifying areas where fine-tuning would be beneficial, executing the fine-tuning process using an open source fine-tuning framework, and measuring the resulting performance improvements.

Key requirements include:

  • Integration of an open source fine-tuning library (e.g Unsloth) with Hyperbolic AgentKit

  • Implementation of performance monitoring and evaluation metrics

  • Automated decision-making for when and how to initiate fine-tuning

  • Resource optimization during the fine-tuning process using Hyperbolic's GPU network

  • Documentation of performance improvements and resource utilization

Prize - $1,000

Bounty 2: AI Sales Agent

Develop an agent that serves as an intelligent broker between potential customers and Hyperbolic's decentralized GPU network. The agent should understand customer requirements, search the network for optimal compute resources, and facilitate efficient resource allocation.

Required Capabilities:

This bounty challenges participants to solve a fundamental problem in the decentralized compute space: making powerful GPU resources as accessible as cloud computing. Your agent will serve as the intelligent intermediary that makes this vision possible.

Key requirements include:

  • Interface with customers to understand their specific compute needs

  • Search and analyze available resources across the Hyperbolic network

  • Generate detailed cost-benefit analyses for different resource options

  • Provide real-time recommendations based on price, availability, and performance metrics

  • Automate the resource provisioning process while optimizing for cost and performance

Prize - $1,000

Bounty 3: The Most Hyperbolic Agent

Create the most innovative and unexpected agent implementation using Hyperbolic AgentKit and the decentralized GPU network. This category encourages participants to push the boundaries of what's possible with autonomous agents and distributed compute resources. Submissions will be judged primarily on creativity, novelty, and the innovative use of Hyperbolic's network capabilities.

Some potential directions participants might explore:

  • Developing agents that collaborate in unexpected ways across the network

  • Creating new applications for distributed GPU computing

  • Implementing novel approaches to agent autonomy and decision-making

  • Discovering unique ways to leverage the network's decentralized nature

Prize - $1,000
